Is it fairly good food? I know it's cafeteria style, but can you reserve a table.

Thanks:-)

No table reservation required. Usually A LOT of empty tables available. Yes it is a cafeteria style food court place. Just OK food for us. Nothing special to brag about. We usually just go for Starbucks coffee when we are around the Boardwalk area.

Heya,

Haven't been myself, but I was reading about it recently and saw a lot of comparrisons with Denny's thrown around. Take that for what it is worth. I have heard they have better coffee than most places on site though. It was recommended as a good place to get coffee for early risers.

Where is the Starbucks? My wife is a Starbucks nut and has been lamenting not having any when we go. This will make her a happy camper!

Picabu serves Starbucks coffee, and it's offered in the rooms at The Swan and The Dolphin. There must be other places at S/D that offer it as well, but I don't know first hand.

We really like Picabu - a lot of food choices & variety for a food court. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, unless you're in the Boardwalk area & really want a quick, low-cost meal. They offer a 20% discount for AAA members. Plenty of seating.

They have two pots out for you to either use your S/D refillable mug or buy a plastic cup and fill it up. Mmm, great start. The coffee is really good and we came down at least twice a day during our stay. Definitely worth getting the refillable mugs if you're staying there.
