Do you have to attend PPP to get a pic with Captain Jack? Is it possible anywhere else? Thanks.

Captain Jack only appears for meet and greets and the PPP. There is a Captain Jack Pirate Tutorial daily at the Magic Kingdom, but he doesn't do photos/autographs there.

I was there during regular hours in September 2007 and my mother and I had our picture taken at a meet & greet with Jack... It was in Adventureland inside one of the buildings, but they had a sign outside that had the times you could meet him. On a regular, weekday afternoon... So unless something has changed just keep your eye out for a sign on the right just over the bridge and before Aloha Isle!

This is what happened to us as well last September. Walking by the lady asked us if we would like to go in and meet Jack Sparrow, the sign said wait time 20 minutes... we were in kind of a hurry .. the lady shared that it was not going to be a 20 minute wait,,, she was right, we walked in and went to the front of the line. The people ahead of us were finishing up, the wait was less than 1 minute. Here is the pic w/DDs

I think they may have been doing a "test phase" for a Jack meet & greet. It's not something that happens everyday (not sure why). But it usually is only during PPP.

You can get plenty of pics OF him if you watch the tutorial. It's cute...you should check it out.

I LOVE jack and I have a lot of Jack fans in my party, think he'll be around for meet n' greets in June!

It'll be interesting to see what's changed since last summer for Jack photos.pirate: DD was part of his street show last year but he was rushed away after each performance--no chance whatsoever for a photo. Hopefully we can get one this year:)

we saw him this past week in the shady area behind the xmas shoppe in liberty square. It is just over the bridge. Line was very long, though, so no pix for us!

Here is a layout of my son and his Captain Jack experience.

Well worth the wait!!!

How cute!! My son was picked on April 17 and got to fight Capt. Jack. My neice was sooooo jealous (but so was Mommy!!) We had just got him the Disney crocs with Mickey skate-boarding and the paint splatters all over them and Capt Jack asked him which pirate drank paint and then got sea-sick all over his shoes. Noah thought that was the funniest thing he had ever heard!! We got some really good pics of them fighting. The guy was a great Capt. Jack...........much cuter than the one we had seen just a few days before!!

cute photos everyone! I really realy really really really really really REALLY hope I get a chance to meet Jack! I want to give him a great big hug!

Pluss I think that my little brothers would love it! I'll try to check out the Pirate training! Sounds like it's right up their ally! My cousin Ashlyn is a Jack fan too! WE LOVE JACK!

Please keep me posted if anyone sees him again! I really wish they would make him a park regular because he is so popular! Then again, every girl in the universe will be lining up for miles for their chance to pose with Jack...er excuse me, CAPTAIN Jack! lol, pirate:

Currently the only time you can get a picture with Captain Jack is during P&P.

Ok, but does Jack still do the pirate tutortial show? Is that something that they do every day now or is a Princess and Pirate party exclusive as well? Never got a clear answer on that.

I met Jack in Sept. and Dec. by accident. Neither at PPP. Keep looking.

seems like when we went it was around every 30 minutes. also if the other pirate (can't think of his name but he does the show with Jack and sets up) sees you there first before the crowd he will generally ask for your help setting up and you have a better chance of getting picked for the show (at least when we were there). I watched that happen to two different children at two different shows. (CM gave us a heads up on that) Unfortunatly we were there first but another child there a little bit after us got picked. No worries though it was cute and very funny. Now for the jedi training we HAVE to get picked or DS may bare the scar for the rest of his life. pirate:

Tis flipin' sweet! THANKS SOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR THE HEADS UP! I'M JACK BOUND! pirate:

I really hope your DS gets into the Jedi Training Academy, just a tip I heard from some "Jedi Masters", get there early and keep in mind that the Jedi Master in the show will only pick kids that are "Strong in the Living Force" so make sure he looks lively and very enthusiastic! I'm thinking something like this :yay: (Oh and I'm sure yelling a little bit never hurt either!) I hope you get picked and even if you don't be sure you let your DS know that the Force will be with him, ALWAYS! ;) (Plus they do a show every 20 minutes or so if at first you don't scuceed just hang around for the next one!) good luck, and I hope he gets chosen!

:cool1: No problem with the "force" DS can't stand still to save his life:rotfl: . I hope we can get picked early on or we will be standing there the entire day :rolleyes1 With Sept and the lower crowds I am hoping that helps. THanks for the info!

Other note: didn't get picked for the pirate tutorial but son was wearing a Birthday pin on the front of his hat (easy to see) and CApt Jack did call him by name at the end when all the kids come to get certificates (one adult went up to BEcome a "Official " pirate too  )
