Does anyone know when Professional Internship applications normally go live?

Thanks!:)

Unlike the CP, PIs do not have an application process. Instead, you apply for the individual roles you're interested in, and those pop up at different times depending on the role and area.

^^Thanks, good to know. I'll be looking into this after I'm done with classes.

i just graduated with a BS in marketing & i will be starting my 3rd CP in about a week. i've tried to network while i've been there but it hasn't really worked (between people who don't call back & managers that take forever to set up meet & greets). :headache:

how would you suggest i get better at networking?

For networking I would recommend two things. First, if you're doing a CP try taking one of the Professional Development Courses (if they are still doing them, my CP was back in '07) related to the area where you would like to network. I took the one in Finance and was able to meet with lots of professionals in the area, including one executive.

Second, talk with your manager. Now, this one depends a lot on your manager. Many managers will just take too long to set up meetings, or would not be a lot of help. My manager, when I did my PI in '09, was very proactive when it came to networking opportunities for me. She helped me set up meeting with various finance managers, area managers, and two different executives. (She was a great manager, and kind of an exception, but she is not the only one that will do that over at WDW).

Good luck.
