OK, stupid question, so here goes ...

We already have our PHP tix for our upcoming trip. After reading some guidebooks, I keep reading about 'make sure to have your hand stamped when you leave the park for when you return.'

Is this necessary with PHP tickets? I thought that multiple parks in a day (a strategy we plan to use), as well as same park in a day (with a hotel break around midday) is the major perk of PHP tickets. So, do we need to have our hands stamped upon park exit or not?

Yes, it is neccessary to get your hand stamped with a PHP. The only time I believe it is not neccessary is when you have an annual pass.

This is just a guess, but phps do not have names printed on them so they could easy be passed from one person to another. When you exit the park you have to have your hand stamped and when you re-enter or enter a new park you show both the ticket and the hand stamp. You can't pass your ticket off to someone without the hand stamp.

No matter what ticket you have, you still have to have your hand stamped. We have PAPs and they still require us to have our hand stamped. I questioned this once leaving the park and I was told it didn't matter if you had APs or not, you still had to have your hand stamped.
