I was in on a photopass share last Sept. and would love to do one again, we'll be at DLR 4/20-4/23. Anybody want to share a photopass?

I Would Be Interested In Sharing A Photo Pass. My Family Is Going With Another Family, And I Am Sure They Will Want To Do It To.

Count us in too if there is room. Our family will be there 4/23 - 4/28. Send me a PM and let me know please. :)

Have no idea how it works, but we will be there 4/22-4/27. I am interested in finding out more info about this please. I mean, I know what photopass is, but don't know how the "share" works.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER:
Do NOT open your own Photopass account to look at your photos. Once they are in one account they can't be put into another one.

1. The organizer will create an email and a brand new Photopass account either before he/she leaves or when they return from their trip. The group has 30 days once the account is created to edit/embellish the pictures before ordering the CD. Once the account is created, send all participants the login information.

2. When you have pictures taken by the DL photographers, the first one you use will give you a Photopass card (like a gift card). Each time after that you get them to take your pictures you will let them scan your card. This keeps all your pictures together – if one day you forget your card, it is ok, you can get a new one, but your pictures will be on more than one card – not an issue. The Photopass website will let you add multiple cards (which is how we are able to share). Not sure how current this information is, but this link may help you find Photopass spots: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1409128. You DO NOT have to do anything other than have them snap pictures and scan the card – no uploading at parks or anything. Just find the photographer, hand them your card and have them take pictures – it is that easy.

3. Each person has their own card(s). So keep them with you.

4. Once you return from the trip, you can log onto the account and add your Photopass card numbers.

5. You can ONLY add your card numbers (pictures) to the group Photopass account. To add the picture(s), you log on and add your Photopass card numbers. Once they are in, you can edit them/add embellishments. Only add your Photopass card pictures here, not your personal camera ones. If you add your cards (pictures) to another account they will not be able to be added to the shared account – the website will only let you have your card on one account.

6. You can add your pictures as soon as you return home; remember, you have 30 days from the date the account is created. You must all be done adding pictures and done adding pictures/embellishing before that 30 days is up.

7. The organizer orders the CD(s).

8. Once the organizer receives the CDs, he/she will burn you a CD/DVD and mail it to you for the cost of the materials (DVD, envelope, postage), which is about $5 additional to the cost listed below.

HERE IS THE APPROXIMATE COST BREAKDOWN FOR THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE (pictures only, not including approximately $5 for DVD, envelope, postage): $137.94 total ($124.95+12.99 s/h)

4 people sharing = $34.49 per person
5 people sharing = $27.59 per person
6 people sharing = $22.99 per person
7 people sharing = $19.71 per person
8 people sharing = $17.25 per person
9 people sharing = $15.33 per person
10 people sharing = $13.80 per person

If there are any discounts available, you will obviously be paying less.

You can look at your pictures at Disneyland before going home, and even order pictures if you want.

DO NOT MAKE A PHOTOPASS ACCOUNT ONCE YOU GET HOME, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ADD THEM TO THE PHOTOPASS SHARING ACCOUNT.

YAY ~ I'm excited we're getting more interest! If we pre order it's only $99 incl. shipping from what I understand. I don't know how to burn discs so I don't know if I should be the ringleader. Last Sept. when I participated in a photo pass share I paid the "ringleader" via paypal, I believe some of the other's in the group sent cashier's checks.

When we went to WDW, we never saw that many photopass photographers taking pics. Any idea how many there are usually at DCA and DL? Do they also take pics on rides and character meals? I am extremely interested (can't be ringleader; not computer savvy enough to know how to burn them), but want to make sure there would be enough pics taken to make it worth while. (We only ended up with 3 photopass pics being taken while at WDW for 7 days last June.) Am I making sense, or just rambling---it's been a really long day.:)
