You use the stairs to the WDW RR entrance. As soon as you walk in the park (which is under the RR platform (through the locker area) you will see the stairs. One of my favorite photos is of my DS then 2 standing up on the platform with his Mickey ears on looking out at the castle. I took the photo with his back to me as he is looking out onto Main Street and the castle. Scanner isn't working so I cannot post, but it makes a really nice picture!

posted earlier......this is how you "get up there"

I love our Photo of the backwards Fountian in epoct next to HISTA. You can see the lights in the fountian and it makes for a great photo spot!!!

DH figured this out last year. This pic is one of my favorites, it was my DIS sig for the longest time, until this past weekend in fact.

I agree with the previous posters about taking pictures of the kids from behind them. I have many of our kids at the beach looking out at the ocean or building a sand castle that I take from behind them on their level. I just love those. I am going to be sure to get one of my kids this year on the platform with them looking at the castle. It gives a different perspective alltogether. I also LOVE black and white pictures and plan to bring a roll this fall for some at Disney. They are timeless.

Some of my favorites are of the kids in front of their favorite rides on our first trip. I really regret not having those kids of photos on later trips.

You floral and fauna folks are just like my DH with the video camera. It drives me nuts!

Ok, that's it! I went back and looked at my photos from the upper floor of the train station and I DO have that darn flagpole in each picture!! The goal for my November trip is to see if I can get one WITHOUT a flag pole...LOL!!

We just got back and got some of our digital pictures printed out and my favorites are the ones that total strangers took of us all together. We have one in front of the castle, one with Piglet at CP, one in front of the Living Seas. My husband would see someone taking a picture of the rest of their family and always offer to take the picture for them and wouldn't hesitate to ask someone to take our picture - and no one ever said no. They were all more than happy to do it and we were always very grateful. It's nice with a digital camera because you can see right away if it was a good picture.

Great tips, everyone! Those family pics taken by strangers are the best-I want my kids to know that I was there, too! :wave2: I think the countries and shops at Epcot provide the best photo ops in The World. Here are some of ours from Feb. Have a great trip!

Great pics guys! Those ones of the castle from the train station are stunning! I really love the one at dusk and the castle is pink. (yes, darn flagpole..LOL) and dizneekim, the one of your DD with the umbrellas is so cute!

Keep the picture ideas coming! You're giving me lots of ideas. I'm in need some fresh ones! I'll have a digital this time and I bought some 40gb storage thingy-ma-jiggy to clear my SD card everyday so I can snap, snap, snap, till my finger falls off. I can't wait! :thewave:

It was briefly mentioned above, but please remember to include yourself in some of the photos. Either trade off with a family member, or ask someone who looks like they would be comfortable with your camera.

I can't tell you how many trips we've taken where the only evidence of me being on the trip is the stray fingertip in the camera lens!

Oh, if you have little ones, try letting them experiment with a disposable camera. We let our DS6 have his own, & I was pleasantly surprised at some of the shots he captured! Their points of view are quite different.

I have always taken pictures of my DF in front of the Tiki Gods in Adventureland since my DS was 4 yrs. He is going to be 36 this year. these are great! It makes me cry when I look at these and see how much he and his sister have grown!! Now I am taking the same pictures of my DGC in the same spot!! an added plus is that sometimes while they are standing there, the Gods "spit" on them!! Great expressions!!
