Photos of the Days Inn where a lot of RiddleCONers are planning to stay--INDEXED

Here are a few photos that I snapped of the pool area and of the Days Inn where quite a few RiddleCON attendees have made ressies. My kids and I stayed there on the Friday before Memorial Day for a single night. It was a bit too cold to use the pool. This Days Inn provides donuts, coffee, tea, and juice for breakfast. The pool hours are 9AM to 10:30PM. As you will see in the first photo, there is no food or drink allowed in the immediate pool area.

The motel is located about 10 minutes away from Cedar Point. There are plenty of fast food and sit down restaurants nearby. The Sandusky Mall (and a movie theater) are located directly across the street.

Thanks, John! How were the rooms?

The rooms were a bit worn, but clean. They were the "typical" motel room with two queen beds and a nice sized desk. The vanity is in the bathroom and not separate like in some motels. TV set has HBO and lots of channels.

Seems like it might be hard to have a "little" pool party with no bottles or food allowed.


Maybe we could move the party to the Clarion Inn where some of us are staying???

Kitty, use your imagination. Have you ever thought of drinking from a can?

John, you are just so thoughtful to do this. Very helpful to people planning to stay there.

Wish I could be at RiddleCon, I don't think I can make it though.

What the rates WERE way back when and what they are now are quite different! They are over $100 for both the Clarion and the Days Inn.

Great! Thank you for the pics! I expect we will NOT be in our room all that much... so not as important to me on this trip. Just needs to be CLEAN and close to the rest of "youse guys"!
