Not a trip report, but here are a few photos that we took during our most recent cruise.

Deck 4 was deserted during boarding. We took advantage of that fact so that I could mug for a couple of photos.

A couple of the nearly 900 CMs who made our cruise a wonderful experience:

Cruise Director Rick. We first met on the inaugural 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise in August 2000. I was impressed then with his willingness to spend time with us then and again on this cruise (as if we were the only ones on board).

Our day in Nassau involved a quick trip to the straw market and then a water taxi over to Atlantis. We decided not to do any formal excursions. Here are a few shots of Atlantis and of our water taxi ride back to the ship:

And what would a Disney cruise be without a wonderful day at Castaway Cay.

I spent most of the day hiding from the sun.

After our cruise, we were the 2nd family through customs and the first on the DCL bus back to the airport. We were in a hurry to get there so that we could grab a rental car and head over to the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. We only had 4 hours to spend at WDW, but we enjoyed every minute.

Great pix, TC!!!! Thanks for posting....Brought back great memories....:D

I forgot one piece of important information. When we boarded the ship, the CM doing the introductions asked our name. Sue said that we were the "Towncrier" family. So thats what they announced. Sue thought it would be funny because leanne2255 had just boarded the ship and she knew that they would hear them announce the Towncrier family.

In one of your photos it looks like there's an aquarium in the background. Is that the Atlantis aquarium everyone keeps talking about? How much does it cost to get into Atlantis? Our 3 yr. old son might like it.

Great pics....there sure were alot of ships in port that day!!!!

Thanks for posting.

MJ

Loved the Towncriere announcement! Maybe have them announce the benebire family on our 7 day western in 2004.
Werent you on the same cruise with me in December 2000???
Guess we are both hooked huh?

I enjoyed seeing your pictures, Towncrier, but the last 8 were just little red x's... :( I wonder why the rest would come through, but not those.

Try hitting reload. Sometimes the server that hosts my pictures is a bit cranky.

chucknrita - The photo of Sue is in front of the aquarium that is behind a large restaurant that you can see from the lobby. This is right near the entrance to "The Dig". We opted not to pay the $25 per person to tour the aquarium. We decided to spend our money in the casino instead. :)

benebire - We cruised in August 2000, but not in December. But we are most definitely hooked. This was Sue's 3rd Disney cruise this year (and my 2nd). I think we are going to take a break from cruising until we can save up enough for the 7-day Western.

Thanks Towncrier! You and my husband think alike - spend the money in the casino instead of on tours! Since I am "dragging him along" on this cruise (he'd rather be in Vegas!) I guess I can live with that!

I love looking at peoples vacation photos and our ship, too. Thanks for posting them.
