How fast and furious is Crush's Coaster? I'm a big wuss and saw a video of it and it looked pretty nippy! How does it compare to Casey Jnr for example?
Steve, to be honest l don't know. Maybe someone else who got to go on it before it broke down will be able to tell you. I know children have to be over 1m something to go on it and there is a very scary looking shark creature in it (don't think my DS age 3 would have liked that part at all, even if he had been tall enough to go on it).
My DH & DD queued for 90 mins for Crush's Coaster before giving up as it was having technical difficulties and were told it wouldn't be running again apart from testing until 5pm. So they never got to go on it

(pity they couldn't have been given a pass for it at 5pm or even a fast pass for another attraction after queueing all that time). I had intended to go on it after DH by using the baby switch thing. I waited for them at Crush for 45mins before DS & l looked round the Toon Town area, met some characters there and took photos of the various large Cars vehicles which were great - more photos to follow soon (as l took those ones with my 35mm camera, they are getting developed), DH had the digitial camera at that point.
At least we all got on Cars

- me & DS while DH & Louise were queueing for Crush & then DH, Louise & John(again!) while l went and did the WDS shareholders guided tour - which was very good although l had to pull out half way through the hour as it was very warm and l was feeling unwell by then. The Cars ride is really good fun. The theming in the area is great. DS John was on

especially seeing the lifesize Lightning McQueen, Mater, Luigi, Guido vehicles and also the Leaning Tower of Tyres. He loved the ride too.
I think these 2 new attractions and the Toon Town area add a lot to WDS. Hopefully in time they will expand Toon Town. I would love it if they had Mickey & Minnie's houses like they do at WDW & California.
I can't wait to go back to DLRP - the trip was pure magic. I'm already thinking about when we could go again next year.
