Here's a few more days of pics., just as promised! Ok, sure, sure, they are about 6 MONTHS LATE, but hey, just like Horton the Elephant, I said what I meant, and I meant what I said, A Gopherit's faithful 100 percent (or for now, that's 61.5% until I get Days 10,11,12,and 13 done!
) I'll get there, little by little!

So where was I? Oh yeah -- DAY 6!
Day 6, which came right after Day 5 (duh!), began with SIL and I hustling the kids over to GF for the ship that nearly sailed without them! Here they are, in full sailin' splendor. I love the two littlest buccaneers, clearly in full "Arrggh!" mode!
After that grand adventure, we came back to BW and swam, locked ourselves out of the room, and again, ran like the ever-tardy idiots we are over to FW for some Hoop-Dee-Doin'.
A little dancin'...
(nothing like celebrating your 5115th day of marital bliss!)
And a little music.....
(Evan is playing his "Washboard Sonata in the key of G"... as in "Gee, this is FUN!)
And a whole LOTTA fun! Afterwards, we played around at FW, then headed back to BW. Cheapos that we are, we opted to steal a peek at the EPCOT fireworks from the bridge. Here's our crew, plopped down on the street like surreybike roadkill. (All Ryan needs is a hat and a sign, "Will sing for funnel cake"...)
DAY 7
You would think Day 7 would be our "lucky" day, eh? But it was Friday the 13th, and it began tenuously as Hurricane Charley loomed nearby. But we got the call at 7 am that the WDW parks would be open for a few hours, and that was all it took to get our crew movin'!
Here's a shot of our trio heading for EPCOT. Mind you, this is the Boardwalk, in August, during a busy, busy, BUSY week -- notice anything StRaNgE?
(hint -- where are all the tourons?)
Evan and Caroline swam with the fishies while Dad and Ryan took a trip to Mars...
After some EPCOT fun, WDW booted us out of the parks to face the reality of THIS:
I don't really have anything to show for this event, frankly. BIL tried to snap some photos, but all he got was this:
So just think torrential rain, extreme wind, and pitch blackness and you're THERE!
Now for Day 8...
In the morning, all seemed well at our BW villa, and most of the parks were open, so we headed back to EPCOT. Some family pics were our first order of business:
As if yesterday's storm wasn't enough, the rest of the day followed with a series of opportunities to get really, really wet, as shown here in front of Mission Space:
And also here, outside HISTA:
(who says chivalry is dead? Late, maybe -- but not dead!)
We did check out a few countries...
After toolin' around EPCOT for awhile, we headed over to Beaches and Cream. We had to wait a while...
But once we got in and got our food, well, in a word -- YUM!
Day 9 was our no-parks relaxin' day. We did so much relaxin', we sorta forgot to take many pictures of it! We did go to DTD and get a few shots there early in the day...
And basically, folks, that's days 6,7,8, and 9 in review!
I'll do my Disney darnedest to get 10-13 in soon...
