in WDW the magic band is used to maintain an inventory of the photos of the photopass, every time you take a picture and bought the package goes directly to the application. how is it in DL? They give you a card and you give it to the photographers so that the photos are added later?

Yup! If you have an AP, they will scan that instead

On the app there will be a QR code that they can scan. I always screen shot it and send it to everyone in my party so if they take pictures they can also add it on to the account.

If you have max pass, there is a barcode in the app you scan, and the photos show up in the app within an hour.
