Photos and Commentary of World of Color Viewing Area

It's not all luck, it's a trick I know. I'd share but then everyone would do it.

lol! There are places you could sit down on the ground but not on Main Street, Plaza or in front of Castle. Every single time this past year 10 minutes before show time CM's came by forcing everyone to stand that was inside the roped viewing area. Anyone outside the ropes were asked to keep moving or move into the roped area and stand. I found areas to sit and view but they were not along main street that has the best straight on view.

All I can say is that I am glad we are taking a December trip this year. Hopefully I will actually know what to expect by then. :)

I think that something is going to happen with the benches because can't you just picture those parents who will stand their kids on them to watch the show. I can see 2 problems with this, 1) Other people will have issues seeing around them and 2) Disney saftey rules will see this as a total liability risk...

I totally agree. I was wondering what would happen to the benches prior to the show, if they would remove them or not. Inconsiderate people who don't care about blocking the person behind them, will be standing on those benches, blocking the view of people behind them. Who knows. We're going in October, so hopefully they'll have ALL the kinks worked out by the time we arrive.

A few well thrown Confectionary Store large jawbreakers to the back of the head would get those folks off the benches.

Seriously, there have to be walkways for people to get out - like Fantasmic and fireworks have walkways roped off. Having walkways in the back of each terrace (where the benches are now located) makes the most sense to me. If so that would eliminate the benches as places to stand.

The first photos of the open Paradise Park showed roped off walkways at the back of each terrace. This was before the benches were added to the Park. -- Suzanne
