PhotoPass sessions prices at resorts are going up.

hello everyone, i just figured I would share the information that I was just told by the Cast member that booked my photopass Session for the Grand Floridian. After I booked my session for the 19th she advised that if I wanted to reschedule my session that I should do it before monday because prices will be going up. So when I asked how much she gladly stated that the prices for the session and park CD option which is currently $124.99 will be going up to $200.00. Once again a price increase. I can see why they would increase the price because when you think about it the amount of pictures you can get are infinite, but I figured I would let my fellow PODSQUADERS know this so that if you have an idea that you might want to do this that you better do it before monday so that you can get the current price of $124.99.

I read somewhere else that it was $50 plus the photopass CD instead of $25 plus the CD? So are they raising both?

if you already purchased the cd you should have no problem. She advised that my price would stay the $124.99 for the session but if I wanted to reschedule that I should do it before because if I do it afterwards then I would be required to pay the increased price of $200.

We prepaid our CD. So, I'm wondering if this is going to affect the pre-pay option as well. We payed $99.95 for the CD with pre-pay and our session fee was $25. Just wondering for friends who are going next month and I was recommending they pre purchase the CD. I'm going to have to find out for them.

I haven't read about the Photopass CD going up in price but had read that the photo sessions would now be $50 if you prepay. If the OP is being told that the price for both will be $200 wonder if the CD is going up to $150?

And wonder if I can pre-order my Photopass CD at the $99.95 price now for a trip that we have in Nov/Dec?

I was hoping to pre order the CD too, esp if the prices jumps are so massive

We had our Wedding at WL and the locations for photos inside and out are amazing!
I'd love to see how the photopass pics compare

I'd be happy to share them after I get the CD. When went as a Grand Gathering (2 families) so we split the CD cost and did the Photopass Session together (our family and BIL's family). Hoping this makes a good Christmas gift for the grandparents- going to make photobooks for them. We all wore the same outfits (boys wore the same shirts (green or blue) and girls wore the same (yellow shirts and little girls in matching blue and green plaid outfits). When we previewed the pics, they really seemed to turnout good.

As soon as we make our changes and get the CD in the mail, I will post.

You can reserve the photo pass session 30 days out, that is what i did and they said that I don't have to pay until that day so I did not have to pay out of pocket at this point. I think I am answering your question. Or I am just giving you useless information.

Thanks for the info. You are right....wait and see. It will depend on how much it is going up too. I would have to think about it and see if it was worth it.

This is the first price increase that has really upset me. We don't have kids yet, so even though I agree the stroller increase is ridiculous, it didn't really impact me. I figured ticket prices and room rates would go up, but I didn't think it was outrageous..but this..this is ridiculous!! I guess I'll just be using my own camera all the time now. It's too bad because I think Photo Pass is a great thing, and I really loved doing the private photo session.

They way i understood what was told to me was that the photo pass session at the resorts was going up to $200.00 and the pre pay option to $50.00.

I asked about just the CD itself and they stated that was staying at the regular rates for pre paid of $99.99.....and regular $124.99.
