I did Photo pass when I went to WDW in 2009 and I remember paying $99 and getting a CD with all my pics. Is that pretty much what the PhotoPass+ does at disneyland?

Yes. PhotoPass+ will also include ride photos and certain character meal photos. I can't believe I forgot to pre-order mine for this weekend. D'OH!

I believe that PP+ also includes stock photos of DLR for you to use in scrap books, etc. And since you will own all the pics once you pay for the CD, you will be able to go somewhere less expensive than Disney (e.g. Target, Snapfish, etc.) to make photo albums for all the kids on your trip.

You can get a CD or download the pictures to your computer if you don't want to wait for the CD to arrive.

We got the CD for our pictures on our December trip. It's actually a very good deal!

You need to order 14 days before your trip. You will get a CD in the mail with stock photos. It also has a redemption certificate to bring to the parks to get your lanyard to use getting photos in the parks. Inside that CD case is a redemption certificate to use when you are home and done editing your photos and ready to order your CD. (or download).

My PP+ came yesterday! I am going to get as many pics as I possibly can the 4 days I am at the parks!

I'm a little confused because I just got my pre arrival fast pass package. I understand that I have to take this voucher in but what is this DVD case with a seal that says dont break used for?

That is the photo gallery cd and a voucher with the code you will use to order your "free" cd after you are back from the parks and done with your photos. You don't even need to open it yet, other than to see that it includes everything.

I agree, it's confusing. We opened our CD case and there was nothing in there I thought we needed to take to the park to redeem. We instead took the folder A4 piece of paper with a bar code on it. When we got there, they said we needed a voucher that came inside the CD. But there was no voucher! Instead the guy had to ring up and verify our order was valid. Most annoying actually. All good in the end though.

I didn't order a physical CD, just downloaded the photos once I was back. Process a bit strange but got there in the end.

And don't forget to edit your photos (add borders, etc) before adding the CD/download to your cart. Once you add it, you can't go back and edit the photos. So for me, I had about 5 copies of every photo! (plain, 2-3 different borders, character autograph, etc) Then just downloaded all of them and printed out certain ones later.

Editing was my favorite part, I think I added borders and autographs to every picture and did a black and white version for each picture. I ended up with over 250 pictures, so I thought it was an amazing deal. Im definitely getting it again for my trip this July, I'm really hoping the have special 60th anniversary borders.
