I'm a little confused. I just prepayed for my PhotoPass CD. I did get an order confirmation email, but I have not gotten the promotion code email that you need to enter when we get back, to see aqnd edit the pictures. When will I get this code?
:confused3

Never mind..I got it :)

How much is a photo pass?

Nunzia is talking about pre-purchasing the CD of pictures that the photopass photographers will take during their upcoming trip.

Pre-purchasing is 99.95. But right now, and Nunzia you will want to notice if it's the same when you get back, when I log onto my photopass account, which has card ID numbers from disneyland on it, I get a post-trip price of 79.95. Nunzia, if it's the same when you get back, you might want to think about requesting a refund of the pre-purchase cost (before you enter it on your account) and just order it for the lower cost.

gydell, having your picture taken by the photopass photographers is free, but if you want to buy prints or the CD (or make a photobook, mugs, etc) then it costs money. Prints are crazy, something like 12.95 for a 5x7. The CD gives you the nicely-sized originals, gives you the ability to edit the pictures online in the photopass website (put fun borders on pictures, add signatures when characters are in the pictures), and when you get the CD you get the photographic release, which allows you to make prints wherever, whenever you want. (the last bit is the true value of the CD, IMO)

How and where do you pre purchase photo pass

This is the link many of us have used in the past to pre-purchase the Photopass CD. http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

A couple important notes:

That's just the CD. It's free to have your pictures taken by the photographers, and free to look at them at the photo centers (or even on your own computer).

That link offers you the CD for 99.95.

Right now, and perhaps continuing in the future, the DisneyLAND photopass CD is being offered for 79.95, buying it after you get back. Therefore, it might not be the best idea to pre-purchase it from that site...but if you do, when you get back, as you enter your card ID numbers into your account, check to see the post-trip price. You *can* get a refund of the pre-purchase amount, if you request it quickly after your trip AND if you have NOT put the code onto your account. Then assuming the refund is requested and finished quickly, you could just buy it for 79.95.

All info is subject to change, blah blah blah.

Wow! Thanks, I'll make sure and check that. I have an account, but of course there is nothing in it yet.
Another question..I want each of my kids to have a paper so if they are on their own and great photo ops come up they can get them taken and have them all on my account. Can they do that or is it a case of them getting their own slips and then adding the numbers onto my account when we get back? A little confused again.
