Photopass Prepay?

I hope I'm posting this in the right section... I apologize if not.

Could anyone tell me a bit more about prepaying for our Photopass? I understand that it might be an option, and I prefer to have as many things pre-paid as possible.

I went to the Photopass site and couldn't find anything about pre-payment. Will the details be in our package from WDW when we get it?

Also, if we prepay, will my wife still be able to customize the photos at the Photopass site before we get them?

They recently changed this. Supposedly if you have a package booked through Disney you will receive an e-mail 45 days prior to your trip (or half way between booking and the trip if you are going in a shorter amount of time). The e-mail will have a link to where you can pre-pay and order the photopass CD. You will be able to come home and add borders and edit before you get the cd. So watch ALL e-mails carefully. Someone can probably tell you what the e-mail says.

It's kinda comical, because I did receive that email a few days ago (45 days out; just like you said). I glanced at it, then saved it so my wife and I could check it out together. We'd neglected to get back to it, so when I read your post I excitedly pulled up the email and viola! Just like you said, there was the link for the prepay offers.

Of course, at this point, pretty much all our thoughts - waking and sleeping - are of our trip. I've been anxious to see if we could prepay the Photopass, and I had the info right there for the past week!

...Well, I did spend 25 years being bludgeoned to the head with metal chairs while I was wrestling, so I guess mental breakdowns shouldn't be a major surprise.

I'm laughing at that one....but it sounds like you have your planning quite together...who would know the photopass offer comes buried in an e-mail! Glad you found it and have a wonderful trip.
