We had a family photo taken in the lobby of AKL before dinner one night a few years ago. I thought I heard they discontinued it in the deluxe resort lobbies and can't find a definitive answer.

Anyone know if they still do this?

We spent 9 nights at BCV & AKV (Jambo) in late July. We never saw any PhotoPass photographers except once in the Breezeway at BCV....and he was there doing a special Family Photo session with a large group (the kind of session you book ahead of time & pay for).

I'm pretty sure they discontinued having the photo pass photogs in the lobby when they turned the photo sessions over to Disney Fine Art Photography (or whatever the actual name is).

How do you find the info for photographers? I would love a portrait session, but don't know where to find the info!

Professional Portrait Service - You can have professional portraits taken of you and your family while you're at Walt Disney World. You'll have the beautiful resorts as your backdrop as they take dozens of photos. You need to make a reservation, so for more information or to schedule a portrait session, call 407-934-4004.

You can have your portrait session done at these resorts:
-- Grand Floridian
-- Polynesian
-- Beach Club
-- Wilderness Lodge
-- Animal Kingdom Lodge

You can choose from Professional Print packages or get all of your session images on the Professional Portrait CD (separate from Disney's PhotoPass PhotoCD). Because the CD purchase gives you full copyright of your pictures, you can have prints done at less expensive places. And since they are kept separate on their own PhotoPass Card ID, you can use this online for the different products on Disney's PhotoPass website. See more under Products - PhotoCD. And remember: DVC Members get a discount!

I don't think that allears info is up to date, but I don't have the new info myself. That seems like it is still referring to the previous practice where the photos were taken by the Photopass photographers. That is not what is done now.

If you do a Google search for Disney Fine Art Photography, you will probably find their page - I've seen it before.
