I read somewhere on here that the Disney photographers are also willing to take pictures with your own camera, is that true? Last trip we bought the photopass and it was great but we truly only used a handful of their photos that were printed. I'm hoping to not spend the money for their photos this time (mainly because the Canadian dollar is so darn low) but also don't want to take advantage of their photographers unless this is common and something they truly don't mind. Any feedback is appreciated.

Yep, they are more than happy too! They will take your pic first with their camera and then with yours! We do that all the time!

Our first year, when we did not have a PP+ we had a few of the photographers volunteer to take pictures for us. I know that for any character meet and greets they are more than willing to take pictures with your camera. I always found though they did still take a picture with their own camera and hand you the card - which you can use to purchase later or toss. There is a wide variety of personalities doing that job at DLR - we found even with the PP+ where we had already paid for the pictures, there were wonderful photographers that took lots of pictures and spent a great amount of time with us and there were other ones who were clearly wanting to be anywhere else than doing their job. I'd say it never hurts to ask!
