We're leaving for DLR next Sunday night and we have 3 day park hopper tickets. I'm wondering on the availability of the photopass photographers around the park. I want to get as many of these photos taken as we can but I've heard that during the busier months, like summer, that they are few and far between. Can anyone who has been there recently help me out? I would just like to know if you saw a lot of them and where you found them out. Thanks so much!

One thing to note, as you are coming in the park, you can choose how close you want to be to the castle to take your picture. There is one at the end of Main Street. One in front of the partners statue. two or three right in front of the castle. The guy in front of the castle last time was awesome. It was our anniversary, and it was very crowded, so he took us over to the side of the castle and took some great closeups. I'll post them as soon as they come in!
Other places in Disneyland are: at the big flowerey mickey when you first come in. They also take alot of shots of the Jedi Training academy. At most of the established meet n greets.
In DCA; Tower of terror shots, both day and night. Cars photo place by soarin. Fake sunset blvd, more so at night than in the day. between the construction walls overlooking paradise pier.
As always, don't forget to hand them your camera as well, they will take several shots with yours for free!

If they're still doing the magic shots of Haunted Mansion and Captain Hook over by Rivers of America, you may find them there as well.

Be aware that not every character (including megastars like Mickey and the princesses) will always have a photopass photographer with them, so be sure to have your own camera and a fully charged extra set of batteries.

We were there in April 09 and I was totally disappointed with the photopass photographers. There were hardly any in either park. I still bought the photopass but it really wasn't worth it.

I may not understand exactly what a photopass is, but when we were there last weekend, a photographer offered to take our picture and then gave us a card. We then gave that card to the other disney photographers around the park when they took our picture, and then had the chance to see and buy the pictures on the internet when we got home. We didn't have to buy the card, just pay for the pictures if we wanted them.

We didn't seem to have much trouble seeing them. They were all over the place in toon town, but also at lots of strategic spots around the parks.

My favorite one on our last trip was on the Trolley Car in Toontown.

I think they are taking about the CD (which is $59 I think). I have uploaded my own pics online and created the photobook instead of ordering prints, it was cheaper for me.
