Photopass photo session

Hello.. we will be in WDW in just 8 days

Just decided to try and book a photopass private photo session.

We will be staying at AKV and BCV and eating at Ohanas. So we could do Poly or any of the resorts.
I am hoping for opinions on the best resort for the photos.

We will do some single poses with just the kids, just dh and i, 3 generations of girls


I would like to do Poly but I dont know if we are going to keep the Ohana's reservation. The next choice is the AKV.

Have you done a search for this? A while ago (maybe even a year or so) there was a huge thread on one of the boards with lots of pictures of the different locations. If you search for it you may find it and then can decide from the pictures which location your prefer.

We just did the photo session at the Poly this past December and it was the best money we spent! The photographer took over 100 shots and worked great with our children (DS is 3 and DD was 6 months at the time of the photos). She spent 45 minutes with us (I heard it was only supposed to be 20-30?? so we were thrilled with that) and she took photos all around the resort. She did many combos including just DD, just DS, DH and me, the 4 of us, just the kids, me and kids, DH and kids, etc. We did the package with the CD and photo package. Once we got home we ordered more through an online site (wallets, 11 x 14's, etc). We highly recommend the Poly!

We did ours at Beach Club and I LOVE the pictures! We went in October and they took over 100 pictures, spent a lot of time and the photographer was great with my DD3, making her smile, laugh and really enjoy the whole thing. The reason I choose BC is because we are DVC members and BCV is our home resort so I felt sentimental towards it and plan on taking pictures there every couple of years for an updated family potrait.

My opinion - all the resort locations are amazing. I've never seen any of the photos where the settings look bad. I think it comes down to personal preference and maybe sentiment. Where do you and your family enjoy spending time or have a favorite memory of - take the photos at that location so when you look at them it brings other things to mind as well.

We did ours at the Beach Club in August of 08 and they are my favorite family pics ever!!!!
