PhotoPass Photo Book Discounts?

I preordered my Photopass cd and received the great discounted price. Now I wish I would have preordered the photobook with it. They look pretty neat.

Does anyone know of any discounts for the photopass photo books? I would love to have one, but they are pretty expensive. Just wondering if there might be any discounts that I have missed.

where did you get a discount for it? I am thinking about ordering it for our upcoming trip but am so confused about the whole photopass thing. I am in the dark ages,lol.
What is the best price I can expect to pay for this? If you get the cd do you still have only 30days to view or is it yours to keep?

I pre-ordered my photopass at disneyphotopass.com. It was $99 to pre-order. You do still have only 30 days to view and purchase your pictures after you upload your photopass pictures, but you can purchase an extension if needed. We were there at the end of June and are not adding borders etc... to all of our pictures that we uploaded. We have until the end of July for most of our pictures before they expire. We plan on having everything edited and done in the next couple of days. Then we will actually order the cd for them to send to us with the pictures.

I hope this helps. I know there are many more experts on here that can explain better than I do. This is my first photopass cd, so I am pretty new to all of this myself.

I haven't heard of any discounts on the book lately.

For the price of the book and the limited pages and layouts - I'd recommend creating you're own digital scrapbook. You can use the Disney Photopass photos on a digital scrapbook after you get your CD. All you have to do after you make the scrapbook is upload a copy of the copyright waiver that will come with the CD to whatever site you elect to use for printing the book.

There are then lots of options when creating your own and you can shop around for the best price for the book (for example mycokerewards has an option to get a free book from snapfish). My book was 75 pages and after discounts was only $50.

I am active online in the couponing/rebating world. I recently traded with someone for a free photo photo book from Shutterfly. I have seen them stuck to Carvel cakes in the supermarket. I am in NO way suggesting that you peel it off to just get the book . . . AKA peel n steal.

Per what I have . . . you go to the URL listed and enter in a promo code. It does say while supplies last. Offer valid for one 20 page 5X7 photo book with soft cover only. All incremental pages will incur a per page fee. One time redemption per member per household. Taxes, shipping and handling charges will apply. Offer expires 12/31/10.

So I will use this with our Disney pictures. If you are going to get a Carvel cake it might be something to look for the next time you are at the supermarket . . .
