Photopass photgrapher at AK said her MB reader didn't work

So she gave me a card with a 12-digit number on it and told me I could use MDE to link it to my MM account. I try, but it will not work. The error message says, "The ID must be a 10, 12, or some-other-number-of-digits code." It is a 12-digit code. I've tried typing it with and without dashes, upper and lower case, and it doesn't work. It's only one picture, but I'm curious what I'm doing wrong. :confused3
 
I'm not sure why it won't work. . . I don't recall - can you go to photopass thru the app or only web site? If both, try switching from whichever method you're having trouble with. If still no luck and you're still there, take your card to one of the photopass shops (near the entrance at each park and at DTD) and ask them to load it for you.

If you call photopass they can help in adding the pictures to your account. If just giving your ID card number to them doesn't help them locate the pictures the info that I found in my experience that REALLY helps them is knowing:
Where the picture was taken
Approximate time of picture

They'll look at one of your other pictures of the day and start sifting through all pictures taken at that location in that 20-30 minutes window (or less if you can be more precise) and have them on your account in no time.
 
We had that happen at one of the locations. We had a photopass person inside add it.
So, if you are already home, I would call and have them add it that way

I gave up on this picture. It was a shot of us with the Tree of Life way in the distance. We already had a much better one with the tree closer, so no big loss. I did however have similar trouble the next day when DD had her BBB makeover. Now THOSE pics I could NOT lose! But typing the number in the website gave the same error message as before. So I just took the card to the Photopass center at Town Square Theater and let them do it. I don't know if we'll ever go back, but if we do, I hope they'll have idiot-proofed their system a little more by then!
