Photopass "magic" photos

Hi, just got back from a wonderful Disney vacation in which I had memory maker. One of the photographers took pictures in which we were supposed to pretend we were holding things or looking at things he said he would put in later. When I looked at the pictures upon getting back though, there was nothing there. Am I supposed to put the things in myself somehow?
