Ok, I love the look of HDR photos and I want to learn to make them myself. I understand the concept behind them and how they are made. I think I understand how to take pics that can be combined into an HDR. I just downloaded Photomatix basic so I can toy with it before I try the full blown Pro version. I figure, if I don't get it with basic, Pro might not help me.
I took some RAW pics today using manual mode and bracketing. I loaded them into Photomatix Basic, generated the HDR, and went to the the tone mapping.
I don't get it
Is it just guessing now and try what looks best? I don't really understand what I am altering with the sliders. Is there a book, HDR for Dummies?
Maybe I should just send the RAW files to some pros here and ask you to make me an HDR!
I seem to be stumped by this.
