I'm curious what camera/lens(es) you bring, what you carry it in...tripods? etc.

Any information you can give would be super helpful!!

For our long trips, I actually bring 4 cameras, I know, I'm crazy. :crazy2:

1) Video Camera - This is not brought daily, for a 5 day trip, probably only twice.

2) Canon PowerShot SD750 - My super small camera, carried at all times, even at home since it fits in my purse.

3) Canon S3 - A bit larger, nice zoom, carried 1-2 times during the week.

4) Canon Digital Rebel - Super large, so only carried 1-2 times (I switch off between 3 and 4) with standard lens and 75-300mm lens.

1 and 4 are carried in camera bags. 2 and 3 go in a backpack.

I really stink at night shots, so I have never brought a tripod.

I have a sony cybershot that I usually bring with me to capture random fun moments.

My fiancee has one too; when its a group of 8 or so there's usually atleast three people with cameras.

NOW, I have a Nikon D40 so I'm probably gonna bring a tripod with me as well :)

We'll bring two or three into the park under normal conditions: the cybershot dsc1 and my daughter's (dd6) new hp photosmart, plus we need to bring the JVC Everio camcorder (360) digital hard drive. For the family reunion days, we will bring in the Eos Rebel (8.1mpx) with several lenses

Oh, and about 15 terabytes of memory cards (maybe not quite that much).

Leaving for PPH in about 3 hours.

We're already in LA, just killing time with family. The car is packed and we're ready to go.
