Photographer for Escape Weddings??

We just sent our information for our LOA last night (Friday 9/17) and I have been hooked on this site all day!! we are doing an Escape wedding at SBP on May 16, 2011. Since it is the weekend and I haven't heard back from the wedding coordinator, I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on the photography included?? I have seen some wonderful photos of couples all around the boardwalk and getting ready before the ceremony. Are these shots included in the price for the Escape wedding, or is it something extra we will have to consider? We are planning on holding MK/EPCOT sessions, and are considering adding a 2nd photojournalistic photographer. Any and ALL information you all could provide me with regarding the photography included in the Escape package would be WONDERFUL!!!!! Thanks!!!

It is a 2 hour package included which includes an album with twenty 4"x6" photos.

We were going to use the journalistic package but instead we are using an outside photographer with a dvd package and using the disney photographer for journalistics shots, this was cheaper for us.

Once you are allocated a planner they will be able to help out, all the photography is booked through your floral coordinator who will contact you to arrange a phone consultation.

In case this might help, I will share our photography flip-flopping with you.

Originally, we were looking at doing an upgrade to one of the Cinderella packages (see the PassPorters book for a description of each of the packages) for an additional $825.

Then, we decided on a dessert party, so in order to help cover the cost of that, we chopped that upgrade and were going to do the $395 for the disc only from DPS.

However, I've read on the boards that quite a few brides were unhappy with their DPS photos and I began to have these nightmarish visions of me being completely unsatisfied with the pics, so we started to investigate outside photographers.

So, we are now paying $450 to have Randy Chapman do our photos. We are doing a 3 hour, disc only package with him. We will have the basic DPS package that is included in the price of the Escape wedding. The Disney photographer will be there for the wedding as well. The way I look at it, it was the little bit of extra money to have Randy and get his disc in addition to the Disney album instead of paying the $395 for the Disney disc only because only 2 ours of photography are included in the Escape package and it's $200 per additional hour.

There are lots of outside photographers who do beautiful work at Disney; we went with Randy because his prices are reasonable and we both liked his style. DF and I are pretty casual people, and we want more photojournalistic style pics than posed pics; Randy has a great section on his site called "Creative Candids" that pretty much sold us on hiring him.

Thanks so much!!! I just emailed Randy requesting information. I looked at the Disney Photography site the coordinator sent me and the photojournalistic package is $400, so for an extra $50 we're checking into him.
