Whilst on the photography topic (here I go hijacking again! )
I severely wounded my camera at Ridemakerz at DTD by dropping it on the concrete floor! It now shudders and makes a hideous noise when I turn it on, so sadly for the rest of the trip I have a lot of not so great photos. I think I killed the auto steady thingy inside the camera when I dropped it. What was funny (not really, well we did all laugh) was after I had dropped it and partially killed it! I dropped it AGAIN!!!! about 5 minutes later! Anyway we did laugh that maybe the second drop would fix what I broke in the first drop but unfortunately it did not
Anyway so I am after a new camera and would love some suggestions. I had (have) a sony cybershot, which I have liked. I looked at the new model that replaces my model and it seems to have a very slow shutter speed (think that's the term). When you press the button it has a long delay before taking the photo so I would miss "the moment" often.
So am looking at kind of a point and shoot. I also need one that has the steady shot thingy in it as I shake a bit (I sound like an old lady
) so before that feature my shots would often not be clear because my hands move a little whilst focusing and clicking.
Would love some reviews of camera recommendations, one's you have, ones you are thinking of getting, one's you have played with and they are great.
