Photo trip report June 3-11

Thanks for the great pictures :thumbsup2 ...we are going to be at DL and then over to Palm Springs in Nov. Just wondering, how long did it take you to drive from one place to the other...thanks...amy

Great photos! And I loved to read that your DH loved the ASIMO exhibit. I think we will really enjoy that when we go, but a lot of folks think it's boring and should be replaced.

And a question: What WAS that big Mickey shaped chocolate dessert???

Thanks! I think it took about 2 1/2 hours to drive it. But boy that just depends on what kind of traffic you get into.

As for the dessert, I have no idea what it was called. It just caught my eye and I told DH to pick one up on his way through the line. It had mousse inside and a layer of raspberry filling. I'm all about the desserts as you can tell! :rotfl:

I am terrible at parade and live action shots. Notice how I get the backs of all the performers? LOL! My camera has a slow shutter speed and I haven't been able to compensate for that very well.

And as for ASIMO, my DH is a tekkie type so he just couldn't wait to see him, especially knowing that DL and Tokyo are the only places you can see him. To him, he would have paid for the DL ticket only to see that. So the rest of DL was just icing on the cake. And I found the ticket stubs for the show hidden in our check book this week - guess he is holding on to them. :goodvibes

Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland.

Great pics, gets me excited about our nov. trip. I gotta get me one of those choc mickey desserts.

I am just now looking at your photos and I see your photos are so CLEAR!
may I ask what kind of camera you have? OH wait, I clicked on the photo and I see the stats......Canon Power Shot A80? LOVED the photos!!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Thanks for all the nice comments. :goodvibes

I really would like to upgrade to a digital SLR, like a Canon 20D or 30D, but 'tis not in my budget! I just wish I could capture the fronts of the performers! I mean, backsides are ok and everything, and can be really good at times ( :rotfl: ) but that's not what I was going for!!

We had planned to eat there on our next trip, but now that I've seen that chocolate dessert it has become MORE of a priority!

Great pictures, which floats from the Dreams parade did you get to see on the stops. The bird girls on the ropes on the Lion King float are AMAZING!

Loved all your pictures!
I noticed you had a picture of Walt's apartment above the Main Street Fire Department. I was wondering if you knew that they always keep the light on in the little window for him. Its a silent tribute to Walt and everything he did for the world.
Every time I walk by that window and see the little lamp on, I smile. :goodvibes
