Hi everyone! I have a couple questions!

When I go to Disney this summer, I don't plan to bring a camera, just my phone (which has a really decent camera on it.) Is there any sort of cloud or dropbox or photo storage site/app that you might recommend?

Also, non-Disney question, I'm thinking of taking a day to go to one of the Florida beaches. Any recommendations there? Like which one, what's closest, how to get there (taxi, bus, whatever)?

Thanks!

I just use my iphone cloud to drop photos too. Some people like dropbox I hear but I have never used it. . .

As for beaches, last time we were there, we drove a hour south east and went to Cocoa Beach. It was GREAT! Highly recommend it.

have a great time!

We use shutterfly and it's awesome you can create folders for each day or each park or whatever you want and it's unlimited!!!!!!! Also we set up a YouTube account and just set it to private and move all of our videos from our phones to it thru an app called capture... They are both a life saver!!!

Dropbox.

Fun and happening - Cocoa Beach
Quiet and Peaceful - Cape Canaveral National Seashore
Gulf Coast - Sarasota or Clearwater

Does shutterfly have an app for this that makes it easy?

Shutterfly agreed.

Beaches - I live on the west coast so I will tell you Clearwater which is about 80 miles due west of WDW. Daytona beach is probably one of the closest but it is still about an hour away. If you are thinking of a taxi, that would be one heck of a taxi cab fare to get to the beach. You are better off renting a car for the day and driving to the beach of your choice.

East coast beaches - nice but with swimming in the Atlantic (sometimes rough surf, cooler waters)

West Coast Beaches - some of the best rated beaches in the world here. Sugar soft white sand and swimming in the gulf. Gulf waters are close to 80 degrees now and are very calm. None to very little under tow with clear water. We are a bit further to drive but there is a world of difference in the coastal waters.

comes up periodically. Available time is one limiting factor. Cocoa will be about a 30 minutes shorter drive than a gulf beach. I know that the gulf drive was doable. We were staying on Longboat Key a couple trips ago and a wedding party was making multiple trips to WDW.

I prefer the Gulf Coast beaches. I find the water calmer and beaches better looking. We spend a couple of nights at the beach after we visit WDW. I like Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key beaches. Siesta Key is a nice beach and has restaurants and shops within easy walking distance from the beach.

I use Dropbox to store my photos. I also use Instagram and Flickr to share them socially. You get more space on Flickr for free than Dropbox. I also use Microsoft's OneDrive but I think you have to pay for a subscription for that.
