From Mt Washington, NH. This is one of my favorites from last weekends trip. I surprisingly got quite a few I am very happy with. That is new territory to me as I am usually overly critical. I just wish we had something other than cloudy days with brief periods of sun. Oh well, can't have it all.

not good technically speaking but i got a laugh out of this so sorry i had to do a series..this is what happens when a lorikeet realizes he's getting his photo taken( he was so close i had to use manual focus and he kept moving so the focus of his face isn't great) if it weren't for the hood, i probably would have Lorilee drool on my lens and/or some really nice scratches from his bill

This picture won't mean anything to non-Diana Gabaldon readers. But for those of you who read her books, this is both white and yellow gold versions of Claire's Ring, sitting on a stone in the Clava Cairns (burial cairns close to Inverness, that have been carbon-dated as having been built at the same time as the Egyptian Pyramids). You can see the words engraved on the inside, just as Claire's had.

i personally wondered just how mark got the dead bugs to be in photographic shape( any i have are usually smashed flat), now i'm really wondering about you
