I totally agree and I'm grateful these are still an option. Hopefully they keep them. We usually stop by guest services on our way back to our room at night, to get the next days. There's no line around midnight. :goodvibes

Great idea! I am rarely up that late. I heard you can ask for one to be delivered but I am happy to pick one up on my way to breakfast.

At least I don’t have to pack highlights. Now I have room for a magnifying glass to read the tiny type . . . 😁

I like the old style but this is better than nothing. We normally pick up in the evening, but on the treasure they asked if we wanted them delivered. I still pack highlighters and reading glasses. Since the app took over I’ve not once seen anyone but me walking around with my paper.

In 2022 and 2023 the I asked the cabin stewards about the availability of the new Navigators and he told me they were available at guest services then was asked if I wanted them delivered they would take care of it.

The one cruise we tried to use the app we missed a bunch of thing we had highlighted because the app keep logging us out.

Isn't it funny! Twice since they stopped handing them out we have asked our host if they could bring us one and both times we were told no. Both times the hosts were great otherwise so we really thought it was something they weren't allowed to do anymore and we stopped asking. I guess it depends who you ask. :sad2:

The one thing our last host told us was he would not be able to get them until early the morning they were printed for. We told him not a problem we went to breakfast around 8:30am so if wanted to clean our room first knowing we would be out of it it worked for us. He was good with that.

I actually like the current paper Navigator format better for planning because you can see all of your options for the day on grid/one sheet of paper, with no adds. But I get that the old ones were more fun visually.

I'm just glad these ones exist at all. There was definitely a period of time after they retired the old ones where they wouldn't give you anything. Then there was an awkward in between period where it seemed hit or miss. I'd ask in concierge and get very different responses from cruise to cruise, from 'Sorry, navigators aren't a thing anymore' to a grudging 'These are for cast members but I guess I can give you one' to 'Sure, I'll get one of these to you every day!' But not as a progression -- like I'd get one on one cruise, and then the next cruise months later be told they didn't exist.

Anyway. The old ones were more fun but the new ones are efficient, which is what I most care about. Endlessly scrolling through the app to try to get a sense of everything happening in a day really does not work well so these get the job done.
