I have just received my Five Park Flexi-ticket and it states on the back that photo id will be required. How does that work.Surely I do not have to take my passport each time I visit one of the parks?

Hello CS,

I too received my 5-park flex ticket the other day from ticket mania, i sent them an email asking this very samequestion.

The reply i got was on entry to the first park visited you will need to sign the back of the ticket and show ID.

Hope this helps

thefoxes,
I phoned Toucan Travel where I got mine from and they said they have never been asked for ID or needed to sign the back when they have been to the parks.

Best to turn up on your first theme park, prepared.....just incase.
I certainly will.

We came back a couple of weeks ago. We had 5 park flex tickets and definitely had to show our passports at one of the parks (can't remember which, may have been Seaworld or Busch).

Getting into the parks may take longer than you are used to, you may have to sign a sheet of paper at some parks (not sure what use that is to anyone) and also all bags have to be searched (well they prod around in them with a stick if you can call that searching).

We were not too keen on the idea of taking Passports with us everywhere we went but I bought a very small over the shoulder bag from Tog24 that was just big enough to fit a wallet, passports and park tickets in. It was the best thing I took on holiday - it was light weight and wearing it cross-ways over my shoulders, there was no way I was going to lose anything.

We were told that we should have photo ID on us at all times - driving licence will do - and you do not need to take ID for your kids.

We signed our park tickets before we left by the way - I just felt should we lose them anywhere, anyone could pick them up and put their name on them.

The only park where we had a problem was Busch

After a teenie weenie scene at the entry turnstile, we got through by just showing my bankcard with signature.

No problems at all at the Universals, Wet 'n' wild & seaworld though.

I would rather create a scene than risk carrying my Passport around at a themepark.

All of the adults in our group have the old style driving license without the photo,so they would not be suitable for ID.

Instead of carrying your passports every where get a copy of the relevant page made and laminate it so it is more manageable.

Ticket mania have informed me that a photocopy of the passport page with your photo on will be OK !!!

Problem Solved !!
