I am looking for a place to put my pictures so that I can then post some here on the DIS boards. I in the past did photobucket, but now when I go to try to put a picture on it, it goes to the message that the site is unavailable. Any suggestions.

ONE MORE QUESTION:

How do you resize a picture to make it smaller, I noticed my pictures are like 956K, I am thinking that it is too big. Please help.

I just tried my account at Photobucket to see what would happen and I had no problem adding a picture. Have you tried again recently? Maybe the site was just having problems at the time you were there and it's fixed now??? :confused3

Here is another free hosting site. I've never used them but I've heard good things about them.

If you do a google search for photo resizer freeware, you will find a whole bunch of programs that can resize images for posting on website. You can also download Picasa from Google that will not only do the resizing function (although it is not straightforward just how to do this), but can also be used to manage and organize your digital photos.

I am happy to say that I did figure out on the photo software that is on my computer how to resize pictures, and have resized them to 600 X 450 and can now upload them.

Thanks for looking at this post.

Go to fookes.com and download their photoresizer. I resize mine 600x600 (it fixes them so which ever end is longer goes 600 the other end is 400)
