Thanks deann for the Albertson's tip. Just got back from buying $200 in Disney cards and $100 in other ones. I may have to return and got another $100 (I'm thinking Kohl's).

Your welcome. I should of bought more also! I used up my $100 in GC yesterday and probably would of used another $100 this morning! I am going to go back and get some for WDW. Did they let you use more than one $20 coupon or are you going to make multiple trips?

Thanks again for the PP tips. I already marked our card and have it with my Premier pass so that I wouldn't lose it when we go to WDW. I will download our pics on Dec 23. It was nice to be able to take some Christmas photos at DL.

It wasn't too cold during the day. But last night was too cold for us even though we were prepared. Even though we took a break from 4 - 8, we left the parks at 11pm. It was getting to cold. That's the nice thing about being AP holders and living somewhat close. You don't feel like you have to be there all day. You know you will always be back!

Glad you had fun and boy was it cold last night! When it's cold I always try to remember to bring tea bags with me. Then I make my own tea with the free hot water they happily provide.

I haven't used my $20 coupons yet so I don't know if they are sticklers on it. They did make sure to tell both my DSis and myself that you could only use one per transaction. But what's to stop you from separating your orders when you are there? I think that should work.

I'm thinking of picking up at least $100 more-I could use Kohl's and B&BW. I'm going to check a different Albertson's and see if they have $25 B&BW ones.

I'm not sure if you can use your DLR PP card at WDW. If not, they can just give you a new one.

It's not a preorder but it does expire on 12/11 ... so I'm quickly getting my photos edited!

I purchased it at the end of November and there were plenty there.

Okay sorry another question! For as many times as I've been to DL I've never ordered Photo Pass (besides an odd picture or two)...

Is this the gallery CD you're talking about? It's the only one I can find but is only $39.95. Am I missing something?

If it is the right one, how does the code work? You buy the gallery CD and the codes comes via email? Or in the CD they send you?

We will be at DL the end of January and I can wait and see if there are still Gallery photos left with the coupon but I was going to not take a chance and do the pre-order.

CD = Compact Disc
PP = Photopass
NY = New York
WDW = Walt Disney World
GC = Gift Cards
B&BW = Bath and Body Works
AP = Annual Pass


Does that help. Sorry for all the abbreviations but when you post a lot it helps to use as many as you can.

I was wondering about if you could tell before you bought the CD. I'm still on the fence about the CD. We did one at WDW last year, and the photos turned out a lot better than any that I took with my camera, but i don't know if I can talk DH into it again... i gotta decide soon, though - just 2.5 more weeks!

If you could tell what? If you mean if you could tell that the Gallery CD contained the coupon for the PHotopass CD, yes...it says "This Package Includes" on the front and then it talks about the Photo Gallery CD and the Voucher for Disney's PhotoCD.

If you mean can you look at your photopass photos to tell whether you want to buy the CD, the answer is still yes. Just give your card(s) to the CM and they'll pull them up for you to look at. Caution though....they'll try to sell you on the PhotoCD right then....if you do that you lose the option to do your own editing and adding of the icons/logos/characters. They do have some and will add those to the photos you request, but not to every photo....and if you're like me, not every icon/logo/character to every photo, lol. So it's best to do it at home....it's not the instant gratification, but it's not like you're going to take time to look at your CD when there are park rides to get to!

I was able to get the gallery dvd with voucher on 12/30 at California Adventure. The cast member had to look through a bunch before she found one that had the voucher in it. It's clearly listed on the front if it's included.
