photo editing help

I would like to use a picture from our summer WDW trip for our Christmas card. Unfortunately, in the one shot that would potentially be the best, my 5 yr old ds is not smiling. We are a family of 6 and it's so hard to get a good shot of everybody. I've really never done much editing before. I tried following online instructions to create a smile using Photoshop, but I can't get it to look right. Any other suggestions?

No, I think it is impossible.

TxAnn, I understand your concerns as my wife would not let me post pics of my kids for a long time, but without seeing what you are working with, there is no help that can be given.

Maybe I'll do a multi image card instead!

this is why I always shoot multiple pics, better chance of having one with all eyes open and all people smiling...

do you have any similar pics, maybe u could open 2 side by side and clone the smile from one into the other

The pic I was thinking of using is a photopass pic and although the photographer took multiple shots, ds has the same blank stare in all the pics! LOL!
