Well, I'm totally THRILLED that I won!! I was telling everybody at work today, and they just couldn't understand why I was so happy when there isn't a prize or anything. When I see the quality of the photos here on the board, usually I feel "inadequate" (for lack of a better word). To take 1st place with my S3......WOW!

Can't give you any details about the photo, other than the EXIF data already posted. The birds were very active, even hanging upside down and everything, and I took a ton of photos of them, deleted a whole bunch, but kept this one.

And in addition to getting all kinds of great photography tips from the board, I also learned that hippos sniff each other's butts just like dogs do! Where else but the DIS boards?!

Wow, I have not been on the boards in a few days and am excited to see that I came in second! I have never made it into the finals before either! I took the picture at the Aladdin show in California Adventure from the very top and were were pretty far back. I was suprised how well this picture came out when I had uploaded it. I took it with my Nikon d40 and the EXIF data, according to flickr, is:
