Photo connect – which rides will express pass skip the photo opportunity?

Hi everyone,

I’ve almost talked myself into purchasing the Photo Connect Star Card for our 3.5 day trip at the end of the month. We’re staying at the RPR and will have EE and EP. Because it is going to be REALLY busy that week (Touring Plans rates most days 10 out of 10), I imagine that we’re going to be using our Express Passes for every ride that we can.

Our family has never been to Universal before—can someone tell me which rides we will miss the photo opportunity in because we are using an express line? Someone mentioned that this happens in Spider Man (you get pulled out of the regular line to have your photo taken and miss the opportunity if you do the express line). Are there any others?

I appreciate anyone answering before we decide to purchase it or not!

When I went through the regular Queue they weren't doing it, but I've heard there is also a spot in the Transformers queue for pictures.

We just got back and had PhotoConnect and it was very easy to use. The only picture that we would have missed was Spiderman as others have stated. We didn't even know they took photos in the line until we asked the girl at the Photo counter. The best part is that she asked us if we wanted the picture and we said yes, so she took us through the back to the photo area and we had our photo done. She then escorted us back to the desk and put the photo on my card. That's service!
