Photo CD won't unlock my cruise photos!!!

I purchased a photo CD on the cruise, and I have gone through the steps on my computer to unlock my photos, but the process fails during the attempt to unlock. I get a message "needs internet connection to unlock" - which I have, so I am frustrated, and without my beautiful cruise photos. Has anyone had this same situation? Did you resolve it? If so, how? Heeeellllpppp!!!!
 
I don't have any ideas, but, my goodness, that's not good.. I am sure someone will be able to help you...

I would suggest you get in touch with the Shutters people ASAP. There should be a phone number on your receipt for the purchase to call.

I've read of random people having issues with CDs once they get them home.
 
Are you by any chance using a Macbook to download them?
We had this issue with our CD, it was crazy. There was some kind of update we needed to do first and then they opened for us.
My husband was so frustrated.
My daughter had zero issues with her Dell.
 

It's a Dell that I am currently swearing at. But thanks for the idea.
 
Hello-
We cruised in March 2013 and April 2014. Both times, I bought the full photo CD. In Feb 2014, I finally got around to unlocking the 2013 photos. No luck...yikes. I logged a help request with mycruisephotos.com. They were great with instructions that included disabling my computer firewall. I wasn't comfortable with all the uninstalling and reinstalling.

They offered this solution...I sent them (in Miami) the CD and they returned a CD with the burned pics on it. Turn around time was less than 10 days. I paid postage to Miami. They paid the postage to get the CD to me.

By the first of May, I had the April cruise pics burned on a CD in my hand.

I wonder if Disney is aware of this horrible issue. I spent $350 on this CD and I can't get to any of the pictures! I don't understand why they're not just regular photo jpegs burned to the CD???? THAT'S what I paid for! This is SO ridiculous!

we had the same issue - you need to uninstall the program, then, when you have an internet connection, re-install the CD - it will have the photos unlocked. It might be necessary to re-start the computer after the uninstall, before re-inserting the CD.

STILL NOT WORKING!!!!!! >:( >:( I uninstalled it... restarted my computer... then put the disc back in and re-installed the program. They're still all LOCKED!!! Grrrrrrr :( If I try to purchase more credits it says that I have no internet connection, but clearly I do... that's how I'm able to participate in this forum. UHHHHHHHHH :( I put in a support ticket yesterday... and still haven't heard from anyone :(
 
The other part of the issue was that the Cruise Photos program doesn't work well with Internet Explorer - my wife had to use Chrome. It took a little while for the photos to start unlocking, but they did after the re-install. I made sure that she cleared out her internet history too - sometimes programs automatically lock on to an address that was already in the system when accessing the internet. She was going to tear the house down when they wouldn't unlock, so i can feel your pain, and how the company has basically no support, as they are completely separate from DCL.

We feel your pain. Lots of issues, slow help from Shutters once home. Several emails back and forth with them -tried everything! Ended up getting our money refunded for the useless disc. Not what we wanted, but at least we did not pay for what we did not get.
