Hi All-

I'm headed to WDW next month with my new camera in hand- a Nikon D70. I'm eager to play around with photographing Wishes. For you fellow photo buffs- where is your favorite vantage point? Is the train station platform worth the wait?

Thanks!

Yes! It is an awesome place to view Wishes. We videoed from there on our last trip. I couldn't get right in the middle because we got there to late so we were a little off center, so get there in time to get dead on center to get the best shots. Good luck!

I like to watch them on the bridge in between the Hub and Tomorrowland, when photographing.

There is a place where the fence dips in towards the castle to go down to the former boat landing, there is a trashcan there, I take my mini tripod, prop it on the can and shoot away!

Here are my shots from that location

I've gotten some pretty good pics of Wishes from Main Street just beyond Casey's Corner, from the MK Rose Garden (right side of the hub next to Tomorrowland), and from the observation deck of the Contemporary.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I may give the train station platform a shot- I've got a solo trip coming up so I won't feel guilty having to make my DD (age 8) wait for hours just so Mom can play with her camera.

civileng- Like your shots- might try that local another night too!

Thanks!
