phone surveys at dinner driving me crazy

I have received at least 20 phone surveys by some company called ITC or something that are computerized and non *69able. They are always at dinner time and drive me crazy!!! Is there anything I can do about it? I think they are political surveys regarding the economy.

I love when they call my parent's house and I am over there. My dad will tell them that it sounds interesting, but he just walked in the door to find his house being robbed and just shot the thief who is now lying dead in his living room. He then tells them that he has to free up the line so the coroners office can contact him and the police are there to question him!! Needless to say whoever is on the other line is usually speechless or will hang up on my dad!

On the ones I've been getting there is just a computerized survey without a live person on the line
