Phone call from Mickey (or other character?)

I read another thread in which someone mentioned getting a phonecall from Mickey to let their kids know about the trip. Does anyone know how that works? I would LOVE to do that for DD3. She would be over the moon--not that she's not already because of the trip--but she would love it.

Well now, how come they have like every princess but not much for boys? My boys aren't that interested in Mickey, Pooh or Tigger Why no Buzz, Woody, Lightening McQueen, Mr. Incredible, etc?

haven't you noticed yet every thing, every place has more selection for girls I have two boys and that always makes me sooo mad

I COMPLETELY agree and when we are at a clothes store can we have more that 2 shirts and 1 jean to look at among the TON of frilly girly clothing?!?!?

There's probably some contract/compensation rules involved. All the boy characters you mention, plus others like Capt Jack Sparrow, are all well know actors. (as those movies are recent) Whereas, most anyone can say the are Cinderella, Tigger, or Snow White, and the kids wouldn't know the difference in regards to voice recognition.

Ditto on the need for more things for boys. I swear it is the worst at Easter when you see all the frilly Easter dresses and boys get like 2 shirts to pick from that look strangely familiar because they are almost exactly like what was available last year. Anywho... a call from Mickey will still go over well!

I'm glad you posted this. My dd just had her 5th bday party today, her actual bday is on tuesday, I just scheduled a call from Mickey!!! She's going to be so excited.
