Philly/S.Jersey DIS'ers- I.Goldberg question

Now I know the Philly DIS'ers remember the I. Goldberg Army Navy store. I can even recite the radio commercial. "C'mon on down to I.Goldberg Come on down... I.Goldberg"

I know there were different Center City locations.
There was also a Turnersville, Springfield, and Exton PA one.

I have a question on the Cherry Hill store.

I insist it used to be in a large white building on Rt. 70, near what was the Ellisburg Circle. My DH says it was in a brick shopping strip mall near where the Movies Unlimited used to be.

Who is right? We moved away, to OH when the store left, so I can't remember where it is/was?

The white building is becoming a rib place, which started this whole conversation.

I am in Philly and know I Goldberg well, I loved the camouflage pants there! However, I never went to the NJ one, so I can't answer your question.

Ok, Sharon, where on the circle? Was it in a small one story brick building, or a larger white building?

I know the Ellisburg circle area well, I pass through it every day going to work. My DH says it was technically on Kings Hwy, and I thought it was on the 70 area near the circle.

We are laughing because we can't remember which building it is was!

I don't remember, sorry. I don't go into Cherry Hill too often.

For some reason, I remember it sitting back, off the cirlce, a little, if that helps. It may have been behind another building???

When my DH comes home, I'll ask him if he remembers.

Cindy, there used to be (not sure if it's still there) an I.Goldberg Shopping Center which was actually located on Kings Hwy. I don't remember what it looks like though! Sorry...

I Goldberg Shopping Center in Cherry Hill NJ. The 40 400 sq.ft. center is located at the intersection of Route 70 and North Kings Highway directly across from Ellisburg Plaza.
