Hi there PDR folks! We're only 2 weeks away and I know I'm getting pretty excited, both for the race and for the opportunity to meet all of you. The totally meaningless 15-day forecast looks great - sunny and high of 71 degrees. Let's all hope that it continues to trend in that direction!

I've heard from Anne, she is doing well and looking forward to seeing everyone in Philly.

I am leaving on Monday for Boston for work and will be without internet (horrors!). My flight lands Friday in Philly at 8:15PM and I'll be heading to the Hampton Inn. I can't believe how quickly this race has gotten here.

We managed to find a sitter and get me out of work on Sunday, so we will be there

I can't wait to meet some new WISHers. We aren't sure if we can get a sitter to do lunch in Chinatown how do people feel about a 5 year old coming with us? Not sure yet but we will be there on the 21st.

Thanks for the update, I'll see you there! My brother is still on the fence about coming, so if it's OK I'll leave it open and we'll just add him on Saturday if he decides to come along.

I had a great run on Tuesday (almost 5 miles), with a really fast pace for me - averaged 10:40. I'm not sure where all the speed came from. Maybe the lower humidity/temps. Anyway, it made me feel pretty good for the race.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday!

I'm coming! I'll be there...supporting the back of the pack!

Boarding passes are printed, gear is packed...including my WISH name tag!! It will be absolutely WONDERFUL to see WISHers!!!

Definitely IN for the Chinese meet!!! But I MUST HAVE A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK before I leave. So, where was the good place? That will be my reward on Sunday!!

I don't know if you'll be ready for me...I mean, I'm usually "talking" to you all the time before we have an event..and here I've been WITHOUT a WISH fix for 3 months...

FROM THE PHILLY MARATHON THREAD - TALKING ABOUT THIS SUNDAY'S PDR...... I didn’t have any set plans for meeting up with the group on Sunday morning. However, since I am seeing most of them for lunch/dinner on Saturday, I’ll suggest we meet near the Rocky statue at the bottom of the Art Museum steps pre and post race to say hello, give some high 5’s, and the usual pre and post race encouragement only WISHers seem to know how to do.
