I posted awhile back about us moving to the Phili area this summer...the search is still on. Someone posted this link on the school district rankings which has been very helpful. http://www.phillymag.com/files/images/Full_ranking.pdf

What I don't know is how old is this listing and how do I get the current one if this is not it? I have searched everywhere and cant find it.

TIA

I live in Bucks County which is just outside of Philly... that list looks to be about right... I know about the Bucks County schools....which there are alot that there VERY good, and ranked very well. DO you know where you are moving in the Philly area?

My husband will be working across the street from the Radnor High School. We thought we narrowed it down to the T/E, Radnor school districts but we are finding that the house prices are ridiculous!!!!! So we are going to broaden our horizens a bit and see what is a little further out from that area.

Bucks County and Chester County might be too much of a drive to get to Radnor. I would stick to Montgomery County and Western Delaware County. Look at the top 3 schools in each of those counties and then check housing prices in each of those districts. But as you are learning, the better public schools in PA are also located in some of the most pricey real estate markets.

BTW - It's "Philly" not "Phili". If you're moving here, you might as well learn that now.

hi there! Check out the Haverford Twp school district. I love Havertown, which is the "town" the school district services. My kids had GREAT experiences all thru elementary, middle and high school here. And we are pretty close to Radnor. In fact, it's a quick 5-10 minute buzz up what we call "the Blue Route" aka 476 from Havertown to Radnor. Radnor high school is right off the exit.

And it is Philly.

PM me if you would like me to pass on the name of a great realtor in the area.
