For many months WDW wasn't in my head, then suddenly with 58 days to go the fever began. By day 50 it was terrible and I didn't know if I was going to make it. I re-signed on to these boards and started posting to pass the time.
Now, with 34 days to go I am ok, but why? I think it is because...
- I got my Disney packet, it is real! DD loves the luggage tags.
- Posting on the boards helped to pass the time.
- 34 days doesn't seem far away at all.
- I have plenty to do to get ready, this will take up the next 4 weekends, then I'm home free!
Now if I could only find a solution to the last day WDW blues. I think I'm going to have to do two trips a year, just have to figure out how to pay for it.
Anyone else get WDW fever and do other people act like you are crazy?
1999 - ASMU (first time to WDW, I was mesmerized)
2003 - POR (went up to moderate, this is when I realized resort was part of the experience)
2004 - Contemporary (serious case of monorail fever this vacation)
2005 - AKL, Poly then AKL (two trips, loved AKL and redid house to resemble AKL interior design, am I crazy or what?)
2006 - ASMO (poor that year, was invited as guest by nice person!)
2007 - CBR and Disney Wonder (great moderate and loved the cruise)
2008 - Wilderness Lodge (coming up, I can't wait!!!)
2009 - Beach Club (hoping to do 2 solid weeks, my longest vac ever at WDW)
2010 - ??
