Do they do hair styles there as well as at Libby Lu?? I'd rather not take Jade to LL for her b-day but I'd love to get a special hairdo for her. I can do it myself if necessary, just thought I'd ask.

Yes, they do hair and face painting there. We actually kept DD4 busy getting her hair done while DD14 waited in line for the princesses. DD4 looked fabulous for her pictures with her friends princess: . I believe I did hear, though, that Libby Lu is cheaper.

Do you by any chance remember how much it was at PFF? If I go with LL I'd like to book it as soon as possible. Thanbks

I'd love some info also please. I can't find anything about getting the hair done on the DL website.
TIA

I haven't been to PFF yet (but we will in a few weeks on our upcoming trip!), but a friend of mine took her 5 year old daughter to get her hair done at the Fantasy Faire. I think she said it was around $20 (I think that's what she said, not positive). I'm sure you can add more extravagent styles, etc that can cost more. She did say her DD was absolutely *gorgeous* with her special hairstyle and she dressed up in a princess costume all day -- she got tons of comments about how cute she was.
I have heard a lot of not-so-hot reviews about the PFF, but my 3 little girls are all princess addicts LOL, so we are going! princess: I know DH is not going to want to spend $$ on getting princess hairdo's, but I really want my DD8 and DD 5 to get them (my 2 year old doesn't need it!). It would make for such cute pictures and fun memories! I have heard that Libby Lu is crazy busy -- and I love that we won't have to take the time to leave the park if we get their hair done at the PFF.

I'm confused by this as well. So, when you go into the Princess Fantasy Faire, are there extra activities that you have to pay for (why do I sound surprised :) )? In trip reports, I've seen kids decorating a big cookie in the shape of a castle - did that cost extra? And you can let your kids get their hair done?

Where can I get a list of all of these available activities, and their associated costs?

We will be taking our DD to this during our stay in December. I havent really heard how much it cost either, but it will be a special esperience for her so it will be worth it.

From the reports I have read about PFF, there is a little show and a princess coronation. They also have a little maypole dance or something. There are little paper crowns that kids can make and decorate with stickers. There is a line (about 1/2 hr long) that you can stand in if you want to meet the princesses. You can meet 3 princesses, get their autograph and get your pic taken with them if you like. That is the free stuff! :goodvibes
Then, they have a section with face painting, hair styling, and all kinds of princess merchandise for purchase.
I'm not sure how often they have the little shows -- I would just ask a CM when you get there. The princesses rotate through about every 20 minutes, so you don't know exactly which ones you will be able to meet.
That is what I have heard from others trip reports. I'm not sure about the cost for face painting and for all of the hair styles (except for a friend of mine who said she spent around $20 for a hair style). I'm sure they are pretty pricey, though. We will be there on the 25th of this month, so I can do a report for everyone when we get back. If they have a price list for their services, I will grab that, too! princess:

I took my DD there in July. It is a big place where they used to do the Snow White show. It is free to get in, but if you want to get your hair or makeup done, it costs money. And of course, there are tons of things you can buy there, too, such as Princess dresses, etc. (It's a store.) But the rest of the area is free. There is also a snack bar place where they sell hot dogs and drinks and cookies you can decorate. That is not free. I don't remember the costs but it was standard Disney pricing. If I recall, my DD had a "kids meal" there with an Uncrustable sandwich and some crackers or chips and juice. Probably about $5 and I had a weiner and chips and soda, probably $7-8?

The princess story telling and decorating the crowns was free. So was seeing the Princesses but the line was long.

DD had her hair and make-up done and I seem to recall it was about $45? The makeup didn't look very good but the hair was cute. My neice also had the same thing done (by a different gal) and her hair looked OK.

I have tons of pix but I don't know how to attach them. E-mail me if you want to see them at JulieNMM at yahoo dot com.
