Hi ladies! I'm getting married at the Wedding Pavilion in September. We're having a painted aisle runner and we're getting the pews swagged in tulle too. Should I get pew bows or pew floral too or just leave it?

For the altar, we're having our unity candle and votives lit.

Opinions and ideas needed! :surfweb:

Since your only in the Wedding Pavilion for a short period of time I would keep it simple and less expensive. The aisle runner and tulle should be enough. The pavilion is very elegant as it is I think. I would save the money and put it towards other things for the wedding.

If you did want to use floral in the aisle, maybe you can make it an arrangement that you can reuse at your reception.

I'm torn on this as well. We will have max 8 guests...provided other family members don't get it in their head that they want to crash it. :rotfl: So, I'm trying to figure out the best way to decorate...However, I'm trying to keep it simple and inexpensive. I WANT to line the aisle with rose petals...but I read that to line the aisle it would cost $300!!! :scared1: So, we will see how that goes...
Not sure what I'm gonna do with the alter yet. I would just like something simple as well. Maybe some candles. :confused3 I haven't gotten that far yet.

We're only having 6 people .... and the place looks very big on photographs :scared1: It seems silly to spend a fortune on decorations for 20 minutes or so, but will the WP look awful without OTT florals etc and so few people?

Does anyone have pictures to share of their simple/elegant decor?

My mom didn't seem to think it was awful without flowers and wanted just something simple at the alter. I agree-BUT-I really really want the aisles lined with petals. I might just have to deal with the cost if I feel like I have to have them that bad! :dance3:

If it's going to break the budget, or you think that money could be spent better somewhere else don't worry about the extra decorations. We just went to take a look yesterday and it is so beautiful the way it is. I'm sure some rose petals or swagging and flowers will all look beautiful but you really don't need much. I never thought I would like the WP until I saw it in person!
