pets + Christmas Cards = ROTFLOL

just tried to take pictures for this years Christmas Card.

Have it all planned out. "Waiting for Santa Paws...no Santa Claws....well you know what I mean."

For my American Bulldog mix and Long Haired Chi, I have Santa outfits. My kitty-from-H@!! would sit in a big red basket with a red bow around his neck. Older cat is the big problem, so he just sits on a red sweater. Background is a little Christmas tree, a basket of red flowers, and some Christmas books all animal related. Sounds good.

Big dog doesn't like her hat and refuses to sit up for picture. "ok - lie down". Little dog looks like a deer caught in headlights but "hey she's perfectly still". Kitty-from-H@!! is surprisingly good. Older cat freaks when the flash goes off...runs into tree...tree falls onto basket with kitty....kitty jumps off and lands on big dog....big dog crawls away on belly....little dog still is standing like the deer. My kids are all laughing and trying to catch the cats. Wish I could have had this all on video. Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

I know. Getting Monty Dog to actually pose for pictures is a chore.

That's funny. If you get the pictures successfully, you should post some - they sound so cute.

I've often thought about taking the ferrets to Petsmart to get pictures with Santa, but I figure I'd just be paying for a picture of Soda tangled up in his beard and Pistachio's backside as he slides off Santa's arm.
