HI! I'm in need of new luggage - AGAIN!!! I know Pete mentioned it on the show. Wondering how the luggage held up while traveling to different places.
I have bought numerous pieces of luggage in 3 years and somehow they get destroyed.

Any advice?? Is travel pro the best there is??? Pete...what do you think of your suitcase???

:furious:

Briggs & Riley have the best warranty/gaurantee that I've seen- they will fix anything regardless of how it was broken. I love mine.

We have TravelPro pieces and they are great. They've seen a fair amount of travel and have held up very well.

A few years ago one of the sides was coming out so I took it to a registered repair shop that I found on their website. We'd moved across country and obviously didn't have the receipt for the suitcase anymore so I was just looking at seeing how much it would cost to fix. The guy took it and said they would fix it for free and sent it on to TravelPro. He later called me and said Travel Pro had switched to a different type of fabric on their manufacturing line so they would just give me a new one. The new bag had more features, etc. :worship: I was very impressed and it's my brand of choice now. :thumbsup2

I  the brand but look around and see what features different brands have that are important to you. Have fun! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

I have pieces of TravelPro, Samsonite(Xion), and PathFinder.

Of all of them, my PathFinder has been the best, though I've had no issues with any of them. The Samsonite has been the least "heavy-duty", though nothing has torn or broken or anything. It's just that the zippers are not as heavy/smooth as the PathFinder or TravelPro.

I would also throw in a company called OGIO. I used their bags on 40 some flights this year and its held up great. The bags come with a decent warranty...

I think travel pro are the kind that, well, the pros use. My uncle is a flight attendant for Delta and he and al his co-workes use that brand. he swares by it.
