First, I have read Pete's site dedication, and it sounds like his father was a very good man. I can see why Pete is so proud.
There is a problem, however, with the post. Somehow this is set up to be the first post on every page, (of apparently every forum also). However, while searching for a recent post, I noticed I could not find it, although it was available through Search. Checking the posting dates, it appeared it should have been near the bottom of page one, or the top of page 2. I then wondered if Pete's site dedication at the top of page 2 was actually being inserted into the listings, or was replacing (or hiding) the thread that would normally appear at that position.
To test this, I created a test post (on the DVC board), and yes, the post that was previously not being shown became available (immediately below Pete's site dedication post at the top of page 2), and the last post that was previously at the bottom of page 1, was no longer listed. (It of course would now be in the top position of page 2, a position that had Pete's site dedication post).
I'm sure you did not intend to hide the top post in every forum on every page from page 2 onward. It must be a bug (or quirk) that no one knew about. This is for your information as I am sure you will want to correct it.
Also, on a side note, I placed the test post (on the DVC board) intending to delete it immediately after comfirming what was happening. However the system would not let me delete it. It would however let me edit it. Any idea why I can't delete my own post. Is deletion not possible for some reason.
Thanks
